On May 9th, 2026, Grandparents4Kids were presented with a commendation from the Columbine Colorado Chapter of (DAR) Daughters of the American Revolution, for their work on the America 250: Stars, Stripes, and Stories
Liberty Box Project.
To honor our nation's 250th birthday, we are launching America 250: Stars, Stripes, and Stories - a project that will place Liberty Boxes in 3rd and 4th grade classrooms.
Inside each Liberty Box are 3 curated books about the founding of our country, and the people who shaped our history. Also included are Liberty Bells, Commemorative Coins,
Pocket Constitutions, and the Declaration of Independence.
Join us as we work to bring real history, civic pride, and a love of our country back into the classroom-one Liberty Box at a time.
